One of the take-aways from Bud Selig’s official statement was that he believes the Steroid Era to be behind us. I’m not so sure, but I’m no chemist. Luckily, I happen to know someone who is familar with the bleeding edge of performance enhancing drugs. I asked Anthony Roberts his thoughts on what Bud Selig [...]
An important first step has been taken: HGH testing is coming to the minor leagues. Over the past decade, the minor leagues have been the place where Commissioner Bud Selig has introduced new steps against the use of performance-enhancing drugs. The majority of minor leaguers are not members of the players union, which has allowed [...]
The New York Times recently published an article announcing a new anti-doping test for HGH. This gives us an opportunity to write a Q&A post, so that you’ll all be experts on HGH doping and HGH testing. I’m half-serious, by the way. The quality of reporting on doping issues is so terrible, you can read [...]
Yet another one bites the dust… Sammy Sosa, who joined with Mark McGwire in 1998 in a celebrated pursuit of baseball’s single-season home run record, is among the players who tested positive for a performance-enhancing drug in 2003, according to lawyers with knowledge of the drug-testing results from that year. The disclosure that Sosa tested [...]

The purpose of this movement is to get Manny Ramirez elected as a STARTER to the 2009 All Star Game in St. Louis? WHY? To highlight the silliness that are the MLB rules towards PED users as well as their “head in the sand” approach to this situation. Rather than confront it head-on, MLB is [...]
In a fit of insanity, I created a new site called “Vote for Manny“. Why would I possibly try to help Manny get elected as a starter to the 2009 All Star Game? Simple. I think it’d be wonderful to watch MLB (Selig & Co.) uncomfortably try to figure out a new policy on the [...]
Update on the StarCaps Case in the NFL
Just as I believe no team was immune to the PED craze, I am sure every agent’s stable has to have someone who has been dinged, or at least someone who has used but not yet caught.
The LA Times has new information surrounding Manny’s positive drug test, information which appears to draw a clearer and darker line from the player to steroids. … Got that? The Man(ny) is guilty of using steroids.
